Cad Cam People’s Institute of Design,is internationally acclaimed as one of the finest educational and design centre for  Car design ,Industrial Design,Product Design ,Woek experience Car Design,and CAD CAM CAE.CCPID is an Autonomous institute and being a association of all cad cam, for support of practicals utilized for courses.Pune’s Autocluster Incubator project is the main base for all kinds of studios of design institute. In knowledge of economy of 21st century, CCPID focusing on:

1.Advancing education through industrial and designers needs.
2.Strengthing the design based mindsets of the engineers and technocrats.
3.Developing the economy based designer programmes.
4.Setting up India’s first Design based Automobile cluster and Infrastructure for manufacturing facilities at the design passage of India.Pune.

CCPID will promote designs through awards and promotional activities like seminars and Exhibition. It will provide platform to all designers to cater Indian and International Market. It will be prime design centre for mainly automobile and other products.Our students will get all live projects to work as well as earning opportunity while learning at institute.

LEARNING AT CCPID

Having an expertise of 2-3 decades of workexperience in CAD CAM field and utilized as effective tool for design,association will provide a backbone for design institute. Cad Cam People’s Institute of Design is an autonomous  affiliated to Dirctorate of Technical Education ,Govt .of Mahrashtra's National Institute with 15,500 sqft area at prime location in Pune.All studio facilities and ARAI (Automotive Research Association of India)Library of 15,000 books on Automotive design.British council library facility for developing knowledge and expertise.Pune being a Learning paradise with cool wether which proves good grasping and confortable for leaving.Braches of Product Design,Industrial Design,Car Design,Bike Design,CAD CAM CAE.
Cad Cam People’s Institute of Design is India's first institute which provides specialized courses in CAR DESIGN and BIKE DESIGN.Being a Automotive manufactures city faculties are well experienced.

The Professional Education Programme 

The overall structure of the programme is a combination of theory and practical in industrial projects and products design.Car styling and its theory and practicals at Automobile incubator. With all facilities of CAD CAM CAE and CNC machining centers.Rapid prototyping ,Cad softwares and Cam software environment.Prototype Model making.Thrmocol,wooden ,styrene,plaster of paris.
Right from design sketching to prototype model making the entire theory and practical will be a part of syllabus.Engineering knowledge based Diploma holders and Degree graduates with artistic knowledge will be a right candidate.

Academics -2009-2010
ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Admission announcements are issued in the leading national dailies every year. Application forms alongwith the prospectus for the ensuing academic year will be made available on request on payment of Rs. 500 (only Rs. 250 for SC/ST candidates) by Demand Draft of any scheduled bank drawn in favour of the CAD CAM PEOPLE’S ASSOCIATION. payable at Pune. Forms will also be available at selected branches of ICICI across the country. Forms downloaded from association website   www.cadcampeople.com.  along with required amount of DD drawn in favour of CAD CAM PEOPLE’s ASSOCIATION payable at Pune will also be accepted.
Admission is on the basis of CAD CAM PEOPLE’S INSTITUTE OF DESIGN method of selection which extends beyond the students previous academic qualifications. The CCPID Admission Committee systematically seeks evidence of the perception, attitudes, aptitudes, and achievement motivation essential for a challenging and satisfying design career. The objectives of the tests and the interviews is to ascertain these. The tests at the various centres will consist of design aptitude tests. Based on scores obtained from these tests, shortlisting of candidates to be called for second phase will be done. The second phase of the admission procedure will be studio tests followed by interviews at Pune. Studio tests/interviews for the Post Graduate Diploma Programme is scheduled from 30 th June to 4 July 2009 and for the. Call letters for this phase will be posted by 8th June 2009. This information will also be available on CCPID’s website. All those called for the second phase are required to attend the studiotests and interview, which completes the process of selection. The procedures, grades and weightage for each year will be decided by the Admission Committee for the year. The norms for the selection are the sole prerogative of the Admission Committee and the decision of the Admission Committee and the Management in any of the matters concerning the admission process and selection will be final. Any direct or indirect attempt to influence the admission committee/or its members, academic office bearers or management will lead to automatic disqualification of the candidate.

Registration

Candidates accepted for admission will be intimated by 25th August 2009. They are required to pay fees for the entire academic year (by Bank Draft in favour of the CAD CAM PEOPLE’S ASSOCIATION) along with their letters of acceptance as well as the rules and regulations duly endorsed by them and by their parents or guardians. These documents and the payment must reach the Institute by the date as indicated in the offer letter. In case the Institute does not receive the letter of acceptance and the payment as aforesaid, by the date indicated, the offer of admission will stand withdrawn and the available seats will be offered to those in the waiting list. Candidates who are waiting for the results of their qualifying examinations will be offered provisional admission into the programme.

Evaluation

In view of CCPID’s plans of expanding the purview of its educational programmes and benchmarking its academic activities internationally, the The system would comprise credits and performance evaluation through grading, wherein the students would be required to earn the prescribed number of credits indicated for the respective academic programme as well as perform to the established level of performance set by the institute for successful completion of the professional education programme at CCPID.

Extracurricular Activities

The Faculty- student Consultative Forum meets every two months to discuss academic matters of importance. The Student Activity Committee functions through its various committees, dealing with the Canteen, Sports, Entertainment, and through groups which plan social and cultural events. Recreational facilities for net games and campus fitness centre are provided by the Institute.

Fee Waivers and Freeships

A number of full and partial tuition fee waiver offered by CCPID and Mandke Human Happiness Foundation are available to the deserving and disadvantaged candidates. There are some additional support offered by the Mandke Human Happiness Foundation to meet the Hostel/Mess expenses of candidates from disadvantaged sections of the society.

Residence

The Institute will assist in residential buildings near to the main campus in Pune accommodate approximately 50 students and hired hostel facilities at Pune can accomodate around 50 students. As the accommodation near to the campus is not sufficient, provision of hostel accommodation to outstation students in various programmes is presently restricted
